Valentine's Day!? What about Thanksgiving, and Christmas and New Years? Oh, that flew by already!? Oh yea.. So did my baby's FIRST BIRTHDAY. Time is a funny thing..when you want to it to hurry up, days feel like months. When you want it to freeze the moment you are in, its past in the blink of an eye. I have no idea how I've survived this year without a mental and emotional break down...But I did!! I had a beautiful little baby, lost a sweet Uncle, lost a dear family friend, and lost a lifelong neighbor. I went back to work when my son was 3 months old and have spent the past 9 months adjusting to what this life is like. I could probably write a whole other blog post (or ten) on that! To say 2012 was the best and worst year of my life would make no sense. But it was. It truly was. I have such a special group of friends and the most amazing family anyone could ever ask for. So much support. So today, this Valentine's day, my heart is full of love for all of those wonderful people. Who are you holding dear to your heart today? Whoever they are, make sure you let them know how much you love them today and every chance you get.
I'm going to bombard the blog with shoots from the past few months that never got featured. But, for right now, I'll leave you with my sweet big boy on his second Valentine's day. :)
