This gorgeous couple is enduring what may be the most trying time in their relationship. He is serving our country in Afghanistan, away from his family and his love. She is here, waiting for him, missing him and praying for him to come home soon and safe. I've always thought to myself that I would never be able to handle being a military wife. And now, knowing these two, it confirms all those thoughts. I don't know how anyone can do it. How they can be so strong, and graceful while there is a big hole in their hearts. But Janice is. She is so faithful in the Lord, confident in her and Victor's love, and proud to be waiting here for her Soldier. She is an inspiration, and a blessing. I am so grateful for the sacrifices that they have made, and for the sacrifices all of the country's military wives, children and parents make every day. If you get a chance today, please pray for those serving overseas and those serving here at home. Thank you Vic. See you soon. 

{Long Beach Senior Photographer}- Cayla Class of 2013

SUPER.MODEL. Seriously. On top of being really, really, ridiculously good looking, Cayla also happens to be extremely smart, driven and talented.  She has graduated high school a year early. She has taken college courses, summer school, etc, to get ahead and it has paid off for her. She is also very musically talented and plays piano and guitar. For some reason she didn't think she was very photogenic and started our session out a little nervous. As you can see that was completely irrational and not at all the case. She is absolutely stunning. Her inner beauty shines through those gorgeous big eyes and her smile is contagious. Cayla, your family is SO proud of you. You are an amazing young lady, and I see nothing but success and happiness in your future. XOXO

We spent this beautiful morning at the train station watching some trains go by. These two cuties have grown so much since I last saw them. They are such sweethearts and absolutely beautiful. Most times my favorite pictures are those that are not posed, or planned that show genuine interaction and emotion. (like this first shot below.) I know we all want that money shot with everyone looking and smiling, but something about these ones, that show exactly how life truly is with your family at this moment in time really make me happy. :) Thank you L family, for allowing me to spend the morning with you. This sweet baby boy was my second newborn for this adorable family. He is just as gorgeous as his big brother and did great at his first photo session. I love working with the same families year after year, and seeing them grow. It's so crazy how time flies and how much the kids change so quickly. His big brother wasn't at all interested in a sibling picture, but we sure did try. I promise ya Mom, as soon as he's ready, we will get you that shot! I am so proud to call this sweet, smart, gorgeous girl my Goddaughter! I can't believe how much she's grown and how quick it seems to have gone by. Now, having my own son, I completely understand why parents always warn you to enjoy them now, because before you know it they will be grown.
